Dr. Sidhu teaches courses in Advanced Agricultural Economics, Advanced Agricultural Financial Management, Agricultural Finance and Cooperation, and Agricultural Growth, Development, Policy and Planning to graduate and Ph.D. students. He is the Dean of the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities. He has guided many research projects in agriculture and rural industry. He is the expert member of many committees constituted by the State government to advise on the issues of agriculture diversification, groundwater management and farmers’ suicides. He has done many international research projects on food security and global environmental changes, crop diversification, sustainability of groundwater resources in collaboration with International Food Policy Research Institute, Columbia University, GECAFS Office, UK, etc. Dr. Sidhu has published more than 75 research papers in reputable journals.
